1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in this retreat/workshop may include, but is not limited to, yoga, movement, breathwork, meditation, energy work, Reiki, chiropractic-related education or demonstrations, Ayurveda-based practices, group discussion, emotional processing, outdoor or indoor activities, and other wellness-related experiences.
​
I understand that these activities may involve physical, emotional, mental, or energetic experiences and may carry inherent risks, including but not limited to physical discomfort, emotional release, injury, illness, allergic reaction, accidents, falls, travel-related incidents, or other unexpected events.
​
I voluntarily choose to participate and accept full responsibility for my own health, safety, well-being, personal choices, and participation.
​
2. Release of Liability
​
I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless the organizers, facilitators, instructors, practitioners, assistants, volunteers, venue owners, and any affiliated individuals or entities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, losses, costs, or expenses that may arise from my participation in the retreat/workshop, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, emotional distress, property loss, property damage, travel interruption, or any other harm.

I understand that I am participating at my own risk and that I am responsible for listening to my body, honoring my limits, and choosing whether or not to participate in any activity.
​
3. Medical Responsibility
​
I understand that this retreat/workshop is not a substitute for medical care, mental health care, diagnosis, treatment, or professional medical advice.
​
I confirm that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally able to participate. If I have any medical condition, injury, pregnancy, mental health concern, allergy, dietary restriction, or other condition that may affect my participation, I agree to consult with my healthcare provider before attending and to inform the organizers in advance when appropriate.
​
I understand that I may stop participating in any activity at any time.
​
4. Emergency Medical Care
​
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the organizers or facilitators to seek emergency medical assistance on my behalf if they deem it necessary. I understand that I am fully responsible for any medical expenses, emergency transportation costs, hospital fees, treatment costs, or related expenses incurred.

5. Travel, Transportation, and Accommodation
​
I understand and acknowledge that the organizers are not a travel agency, tour operator, transportation provider, or accommodation provider unless specifically stated in writing.
​
I am fully responsible for arranging and paying for my own flights, ground transportation, lodging, meals outside the program, travel documents, and any other personal travel-related expenses.
​
I understand that the organizers are not responsible for flight delays, cancellations, missed connections, transportation issues, lost luggage, accommodation problems, or any other travel-related disruptions.
​
6. Travel Insurance, Health Insurance, and Visa Responsibility
​
If I am traveling internationally, I understand that I am responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance, travel health insurance, and any necessary medical coverage for the duration of my trip.
​
If I am participating from within the United States, I understand that I am responsible for maintaining my own health insurance or medical coverage.
​
If I am traveling from outside the United States, I understand that I am solely responsible for obtaining any visa, ESTA, passport, entry documents, or other travel authorization required to enter the United States. The organizers are not responsible if I am denied entry, delayed, or unable to attend due to visa, passport, immigration, or travel document issues.

7. No Refund Policy
​
I understand and agree that all payments are non-refundable.
​
This includes, but is not limited to, cancellation by the participant, travel delays, illness, injury, personal emergencies, visa or immigration issues, change of plans, failure to attend, or partial attendance.
​
I understand that my registration secures my space and that the organizers make financial commitments in advance based on my registration.
​
8. Program Changes
​
I understand that the schedule, facilitators, activities, location details, and program content may be adjusted if necessary due to weather, venue needs, facilitator availability, safety concerns, low enrollment, force majeure, or other circumstances beyond the organizers’ control.
​
The organizers will make reasonable efforts to provide a meaningful and comparable experience, but no refund will be provided for reasonable program adjustments.
​
9. Personal Belongings
​
I understand that I am responsible for my own personal belongings, valuables, money, documents, electronics, luggage, and other property. The organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.
​
10. Conduct and Respectful Participation
​
I agree to participate respectfully and responsibly. I understand that the organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful, harmful, or inappropriate, without refund.
​
11. Communicable Illness
​
I agree not to attend if I have symptoms of a contagious illness, have been advised to isolate, or believe that my attendance may put others at risk. I understand that I am responsible for my own health decisions and for respecting the health and safety of the group.
​
12. Photography and Media Consent
​
I understand that photos or videos may be taken during the retreat/workshop for documentation, promotional, or educational purposes. I give permission for my image, likeness, or voice to be used unless I notify the organizers in writing before the event that I do not wish to be photographed or recorded.
​
13. Acknowledgment of Voluntary Participation
​
I acknowledge that my participation is completely voluntary. I understand that I may choose not to participate in any activity and that I am responsible for communicating my needs, boundaries, limitations, or concerns.
​
14. Governing Law
​
This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of California.

15. Agreement
​
By signing below or submitting my registration form, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this Waiver, Release of Liability, Assumption of Risk, and Acknowledgment Agreement.
